We sincerely congratulate ZHENG Hao on graduating from GPSS in September 2025, and on receiving the Master degree. At the same time, we also congratulate him on receving the GPSS Best Thesis Award. We wish him continued success in the future.
During his time in SUS Lab, ZHENG Hao completed research on Identification and Simulation of Urban Shrinking Process: Implications for Low-Carbon Development in Tokyo Metropolitan Area, which contributed valuable insights to urban shrinkage and low-carbon development in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. This work reflects his dedication and has added to the achievements of our lab.
We welcome academic collaboration with researchers and institutions worldwide. Our lab offers research opportunities for master’s and doctoral students, and also hosts visiting scholars working on topics related to sustainable urban systems.
