A new paper by Dr. Runsen Zhang and collaborators was published in Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, entitled “Decarbonizing urban transport in Tokyo: Integrated scenarios of behavioral and technological transformations”.
The paper develops an integrated land use–transport–energy model for the Tokyo metropolitan area and, through Avoid–Shift–Improve–based scenario analysis, demonstrates how behavioral and technological transformations jointly drive urban transport decarbonization pathways.
