Paper Published in Energy

Dr. Runsen Zhang and co-authors published a paper in Energy titled “Air pollution reduction co-benefits associated with low-carbon transport initiatives for carbon neutrality in China by 2060”.

The study develops an integrated transport energy modeling framework to assess air pollution reduction co-benefits of low-carbon transport policies in China. Scenario analyses based on the Avoid–Shift–Improve framework reveal that technological improvement strategies play a dominant role in reducing air pollutant emissions, while the effectiveness of policy measures varies across regions and pollutants.
