We are glad to share that ZHENG Hao, a Master student in SUS Lab, attended the The 69th JSCE Conference on Infrastructure Planning and Management (Spring Meeting) during May 25th~26th, in Hokkaido. He gave a poster presentation titled “Identifying the Urban Shrinkage in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area with NPP-VIIRS Nighttime Light Data”.
The study demonstrates the contribution of SUS Lab to advancing knowledge in urban planning and urban shrinkage area.
And we are also happy to share that ZHENG Hao received the Outstanding Student Poster Award. This recognition highlights both the quality of the work and the excellence of our lab members.
We welcome academic collaboration with researchers and institutions worldwide. Our lab offers research opportunities for master’s and doctoral students, and also hosts visiting scholars working on topics related to sustainable urban systems.
