We are glad to share that ZHENG Hao, a Docteral student in SUS Lab, attended the The 17th Japan-Korea-China Joint Conference on Geography during November 11th~14th, in Kyoto. He gave an oral presentation titled “Environmental Drivers and Future Projection of Urban Shrinkage in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area: A Machine Learning Approach”.
The study demonstrates the contribution of SUS Lab to advancing knowledge in machine learning, environmental factors and urban shrinkage.
We welcome academic collaboration with researchers and institutions worldwide. Our lab offers research opportunities for master’s and doctoral students, and also hosts visiting scholars working on topics related to sustainable urban systems.
